PSICANÁLISE XXXVIII

HSSR, SSPD, SSSR and HSPD
FKDÇLFK
Charlie,
DÇLKF
A riddle: which is less painful? To be screwed by a lamer or to be screwed by an expert?
As always, I find both to have advantages and disadvantages.
DºFKÇ
Of course, if you consider yourself to be fairly intelligent and you get screwed by a lamer, then you quickly realize the scam and give him the “no mercy” treatment. But, you see, the lamer ones usually make one big mistake – they underestimate the intelligence of their victims. This results in their complete lack of ability to perceive they were spotted, hence, in the persistence of a well oiled routine script, until they finally see the whole picture.
That’s why the “no mercy” treatment works so well in these cases. It’s the only way they will ever get it.
If you give them so much as one word of hope, they will immediately cling to it as if their lives depended upon it, and they will restart their painful climb to win your charms back. I say painful because, by now you should already know what kind of an idiot you’re dealing with and the only reaction you should have is pity.
A word of advice here: Believe me – it is the only reaction you should ever have. Don’t make the mistake of believing this time will be different. It never is. I’ve been there a few times to know what I’m talking about.
dklfjdk
In conclusion:
Advantages of being screwed by a lamer: High Speed Scam Recognition (HSSR)
Disadvantages: Slow Speed Problem Dispatchment (SSPD)
çldfk
Now, let’s analyse the other case, a little bit more complex.
If you’re screwed by an expert, it may take a long time before you spot the scam. The really intelligent ones are capable of wrapping you around their fingers in such an exquisite way, it’s really an art form.
In the mean time, they will proceed to destroy several things along the ride: your composure, your confidence (if you have any), your self esteem, your pride, your dignity and, in some cases, if it lasts long enough for that, your entire life.
In the worst cases, they might even accomplish the destruction of certain pieces of your very soul (but that’s another story…a bit more tragic and we won’t dwell on it for now).
lfkjçld
Of course during this painful path of destruction, you barely notice what’s going on. At first you joyfully give them anything they ask. Sometimes, a little voice starts shouting from a very deep well inside yourself, telling you there are suspicious things going on. And you start asking yourself faint questions, like: “How come I’m always the giver?” or “How come he made me do this again?”
These are dangerous questions, for both of you.
They’re dangerous for him, because they might mean the beginning of the end of his “takers kingdom”. And they’re dangerous for you because they may mean the beginning of a very long path through a dark tunnel of constant doubts, that keep lurking in the back of your mind and will drive you slowly into madness.
dçlfkdçl
Because, you see Charlie, there is one tiny little detail that usually is ignored by the victims at this early stage – LOGIC.
I learned that from detectives. Usually a problem’s solution is the simplest answer you can find. But very seldom do people choose this simple answer, over the other million possible unbelievable justifications their blind hearts try to come up with.
Why? Because we’re human. Humans love to complicate simple things.
Example: The husband comes home smelling of someone else’s perfume. Imediate conclusion? He’s sleeping with another woman. But does the wife trust her gut feeling and confront him? No way! He probably was bying her some perfume and tried different scents at the store … !!!!!! Ridiculous? YES. Discardable? No … when you’re so desperate to fit the person’s unfamiliar behaviour into the perfect image you created in your mind. Anything goes.
And so, when you’re dealing with an expert who is succeeding in screwing your mind, that is what happens. You slowly begin to notice tiny discrepancies in his behaviour, in his words, in the way he deals with you. LOGIC tells you something’s wrong. Your gut feeling tells you something’s wrong. But because he’s got you so wrapped around his finger, it’s going to be a tough journey until you finally decide to disentangle yourself, if you ever manage to do it … (but that’s another tragic story and we won’t dwell into it either).
çldkfd
The good news?
Once you spot the scam, he will disappear like a true experienced magician and you won’t even have time to say abracadabra.
Again, a word of advice: Be sure you’re sure that’s what you want to do. Because if you’re not sure but he hints the slightest smell of doubt, he will vanish from the face of the earth and guess who will need to buy an extra supply of tissue boxes …
dçlf
In conclusion:
Disadvantages of being screwed by an expert: Slow Speed Scam Recognition (SSSR)
Advantages: High Speed Problem Dispatchment (HSPD)
dkfdçl
As you can see, Charlie, there are always two sides to every story.
The answer to the riddle? RLHWYSYBSCAYLAIYAREBS.
Translation: Run Like Hell When You Sense You’re Being Screwed Cause Anyway You Look At It You ARE Being Screwed

PSICANÁLISE XXXVII

Estou a dar o berro, Charlie. Dar o berro é demasiado doce. Estou a flipar completamente. Estou de rastos. E estou a ficar pirulas.
Um deles dirá "Give us your soul. Give us your sanity.”
E então a Arwen que existe em mim murmurará, com convicção e desafio no olhar “If you want it, come and claim it!”, empunhando a espada impregnada de toda a força que ainda lhe resta.
“Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though I oft have passed them by,
A day will come at last when I
Shall take the hidden paths that run
West of the Moon, East of the Sun.”

PSICANÁLISE XXXVI

Assumir o Pneu
,f-.d,f-d,
Charlie, estou com pneu. Não tinha pneu há anos. Mas agora tenho. Sou falsa magra, percebes?

Homens e Cd's
lgkçlfkg g

Not Falling Apart....

Breath In ... Breath Out ...
gjfkldjg

gjfkldjg
"Breath in ... breath out ... Daniel-san ... Breath in ... breath out ..."
Adoptei a táctica zen.
Obrigada, mestre. Eu vi a luz! E depois entrei em black out.

P.S. Tirar 2 dias de férias também ajudou ... :)

PSICANÁLISE XXXIII

Queimada
kdjfkldjf
“Mas tu tás-te a passar??? Então tu vais-me comprar um CD desse gajo????”
Pois … Comprei …
E o meu irmão desatou a rir à gargalhada.
Eu sou a queimada ...

The Art of Making Shit
çlfºçdlfºçld
I may not be good at anything else, Charlie, but there is something I excell in - making shit. It's really an art form, come to think of it.
This year I trully achieved the highest level of shit ever, and mastered with honours. çlfºçdlf
kfdklf
To master in making shit, you need to get excellent grades in the following subjects:
lfºçdlç
1. Saying all the wrong things at exactly the wrong time and with the precice opposite intention and expression of what you wish to convey.
çlfºçdlf
2. Always looking like a perfect idiot, while pretending very hard to be perceived as a very bright person.
fldºçlf
3. A much less spectacular but nonetheless important subject comprises of tripping, looking odd and handling objects with such disgraceful care that what really seems and feels is that the object is actually handling you - hence, they fall, get tangled or break with remarkable ease whenever you're around (you'll never guess how many bowls of soup I dropped in the kitchen this year ...).
flçdºlfld
4. Being a champ in creating misunderstandings, when what you really want is to clarify things.
ºçlfºçdl
5. Taking ages to make up your mind and then simply deciding from the thousands of possibilities at your disposal exactly on the worst one - it takes real genious, I tell you ...
lkfçldk
6. Being sure of understanding the hidden meanings of everything, when in reality you end up concluding you haven't got a clue of what's going on or, another interesting variation, you do eventually get it ... but a little too late.
lfºçdlf
So, Charlie, if for nothing else, I should congratulate myself for having the great capacity of making the best shit ever (and a great chilli too ...). Something not many people can brag about ... ;)

PSICANÁLISE XXXI

Thinking of …
ºçfº~çf
Has it ever happened to you, Charlie, thinking of someone you hadn't thought of in a long time, suddenly, for no apparent reason?
Of course it could be (and most probably it is) just a coincidence.
But I have this crazy theory.
kfçklg
Maybe, just maybe, it means that person is also thinking of you. Thinking so hard that the thought is capable, by some strange not yet explained quantum physics phenomenon, of putting in motion a chain of energy that will move through and around objects, people and places until it reaches you and makes you think back.
çlºgf
Hey, Charlie ... I'm thinking of you. Are you thinking of me? ... ;)

You know why this blog is so fucking great, Charlie? Because I can write whatever I fucking choose to fucking write and no one is going to tell me what I should or shouldn't do.
LKHGÇLH
No clients telling me they'd rather have the word "X" instead of the word "Z" (wich, by the way, would be far fucking better than the fucking "X" anyway, but who cares? ... he wants the fucking "X", I'll give him his god forsaken fucking "X" and he can fucking choke on the fucking "X" for all I care, it's his bloody fucking product, and his fucking campaign, and his fucking money anyway, who gives a fucking shit? ... not me ... that's for sure!).
LKHGÇLH
In this blog I can write whatever I feel like writing. I can fucking write a fucking sentence with 10 fucking "fucks" on it and it's nobody's business but my own.
LKHGÇLH
Fuiiiiiiiiiuuuuu!!! I think I've made a pretty fucking clear picture of why I fucking love this fucking blog. Fuck! And if anyone has any fucking complaints about it ... well, you know where you can go stick them, don't you?

PSICANÁLISE XXVIII

Strange and MagicalÇDLFºDÇLFÇLD

When one writes, Charlie, one has to be like an actor and dive under the character's skin. One has to feel what the character feels, think, do whatever we want to make them do. One has to know what they went through, so we can be able to make the reader feel exactly what they are feeling and be totally identified with them.
ÇDLFºDÇLFÇLD
That's why writers are weird, at least. They are like profilers. They must search their most deeper or darker layers to find the murderer, the mother, the taxi driver, the doctor, the child, the drifter, the dog!
They must be that person; think, breath, eat, drink, smell who they are writing about. To live inside the characters world for as long as they are writing them.
ÇDLFºDÇLFÇLD
To enter this zone one must be completely obssessed with the character.
Everything about that character must be thought to the most insignificant detail. And then one falls inevitably in love. Completely. Irreversibly. Insanely in love.
The character is carved to perfection like a Gaudi cathedral or Rodin's hands. And then the character takes over you, starts to breath alone, or so it feels like that. And sometimes they do things that surprise you completely. They decide things alone. They say things you never thought they would say. Out of the blue.
This, of course, has a very logic explanation - it's the result of all the work processed by the author's unconscious, everything he absorbed about the character suddenly, one random day, starts pouring out as if the character had a life of it's own.
ÇDLFºDÇLFÇLD
This is the most magical moment in writing. The most wonderful one. The one that makes everything else worth while. All the mental exaustion of writing the first draft. All the dilemmas of having to make choices that will determinate the path the story will take. All the muscle cramps in one's hand from writing, sometimes a whole day without stopping. All the endless rewritings, to cut, to change, to carv, to add, but most of all to cut, cut, cut, until you reach the very essence of an idea, with exactly the right amount of words.ÇDLFºDÇLFÇLD

Sometimes, this magical moment reaches heights never once felt before. It happened to me just once, when I created an 8 year old brazillian street boy.
I became so obssessed with making him look credible I thought about him all the time. And one day my brain was tricked into believing he was actually there. I could feel him playing around me, everywhere. I had the strangest sensation of walking down a street and feeling he was just disappearing on the next corner.
ÇDLFºDÇLFÇLD
I had to kill the little boy. At a certain point in the story I knew he had to die. It made sense. It was one of the most difficult writing decisions I ever had to take. And then, another very strange thing happened. I cried. I cried while I was killing my character.ÇDLFºDÇLFÇLD
I cried because I had to, just had to kill him. I had no choice.

About everything.

A stone ... A book ... The way someone's hand dances ... A wheel of a car ... A child's secret world ... A seagull floating in the wind ... A cigarette burning on an ashtray in a bar at night ... The sound of someone breathing ... The silence that falls like thunder in the middle of a conversation between two people that have known eachother for years ... The touch of a rose petal on a wool blanket ... The intricate games of the mind a serial killer uses to deceive a trained profiler ... The contrast between a white sheet of newspaper and the black letters printed on it describing the red blood splattered across a palestinian street ... A Modigliani slim woman's face ... A boy painting a canned spray grafitti in the middle of the night ... A baby crying inside a pedophile's brain ... David Coverdale's powerful voice ... The space between a blink of an eye and the one that follows ... A star exploding ... The Earth spinning ... My mouth drawing the word love ... A tear splashing the word hate ... PSICANÁLISE XXVI

I write, Charlie.
And that is the only thing I know for sure. It’s the only thing I’ve ever known for sure, all my life, since I was 8. And it’s the only thing I know now, for sure. The only thing that matters. The rest, everything else, is peanuts ...
fkdkfçldkf
I write. Writing is like breathing. I will always write. I will write until my last day.
I will die over a piece of paper, my hand will slide softly over an unfinished word and that will be my last breath …
jgfkljg
And if it ever should happen that I was prevented from writing, by some reason, I would surely die. Written words are oxygen to me. For written words have kept me alive so many times. And they have never let me down.
jgfkljg
And so I will honor words like gods. I will respect them and work relentelessly to sculpt cathedrals of words. And if it takes a life time to make but two words to match perfectely, I will try that life time.
jgfkljg
And then, one peaceful, blue or rainy day, my aged hand will slide softly over that piece of paper and …

Perfect People
KFLFKLFǺfçº~çlf
I hate perfect people. I hate them, Charlie.
And I don't give a damn what anyone thinks of me for having these thoughts.
I hate people who have perfect families and perfect relationships and perfect jobs and perfect clothes and petty little perfect lives.
I perfectly hate them.
Because they don't know, but they will go through their perfect little petty lives without ever seeing the excrutiating beauty of imperfection.
Like you, Charlie. There isn't a single thing that works in your pathetic life - even your own dog mocks you. But you're so wonderful, I wouldn't change a single thing about you.

KFLFKLFÇKFLFKLFÇ

Nunca conheci quem tivesse levado porrada.
E eu, tantas vezes reles, tantas vezes porco, tantas vezes vil,
Eu tantas vezes irrespondivelmente parasita,
Indesculpavelmente sujo.
Que quando não tenho calado, tenho sido mais ridículo ainda;
Para fora da possibilidade do soco;
Quem me dera ouvir de alguém a voz humana
Que confessasse não um pecado, mas uma infâmia;

Joggers and Dancers
çflºçdlf

çflºçdlf
Once in a while, Charlie, when I smell something fishy, I remember Forrest Gump and I start hearing this voice inside my head screaming: “Run, Forrest, run!” Run, as fast as you can and don’t stop. Run and don’t look back. Run as far away as you can and never come back to the same spot.
There’s just one tiny little problem, Charlie. I don’t like to run. Never did. I’m not a jogger, I’m a dancer. And there’s a whole world of differences between joggers and dancers.
çflºçdl
Joggers move in straight lines. Dancers move in circles.
Joggers don’t mind running the same distance every time. Dancers like to change.
Joggers take exactly the same steps every day. Dancers never make the same move exactly the same way (not even when you’re Margot Fonteyn).
Joggers are rational. Dancers are emotional.
Joggers play safe. Dancers play by their guts.
Joggers are consistent. Dancers are unpredictable.
Joggers run mostly alone. Dancers need a partner, especially one who will move along at the same beat.
çflºçdlf
So when that voice screams “Run, Forrest, run!” this is what usually happens: I try to run, Charlie, but something inside me just won’t let me. Instead, I start moving in circles, around that fishy smell, trying to figure it out. Instead of just letting go and start going the distance, I try changing the rhythm, adjusting myself to someone else’s beat.

Sometimes I spin so much, I get dizzy and fall flat on my butt, right in front of that someone else. And then I have to get up alone.
But do I stop? No. Those damned red shoes just keep my feet going and going and going, until the point of exaustion.
çflºçdlf
Cause, you see, Charlie, it may take a lifetime for a dancer to find the perfect partner. The one who will dance along, fitting right in and who won’t just stand there, watching, as you make a fool of yourself. The one who won’t be afraid to fall with you.
Cause dancers fall a lot. They get bruised and dirty. Joggers just get sweaty.
And that’s about the only thing joggers and dancers have in common - they sweat a lot.

PSICANÁLISE XXIII

Baldes de Água Fria

lfjçldkf
Caramba, Charlie!
IT'S ALIIIIIIIIVEEEE!!!!
Am I right, or am I right?

PSICANÁLISE XXII

Which Peanuts Character are You?

A Moody Kind Of Guy
ºçdfklºdkf
"God is just a kid with an ant farm" - Keanu Reaves em "Constantine"
ºçdfklºdkf

ºçdfklºdkf
On the other hand, Charlie, there are other times when God is literally playing dice with you.
ºçdfklºdkf
The world is crumbling right before your eyes. It looks like a tornado has just swept your whole life and devastated what little is left of your integrity. You're on the floor and you don't even want to get up anymore. And suddenly 3 or 4 ropes come down from above and linger there, like an invitation, quietly, unexpectedly.
ºçdfklºdkf
They have different colors, like the wires on a bomb device. You have to cut one of them and grab the others. But which one will you cut? Or will you cut any of them? Or all of them? Do you just stay on the floor and ignore them? Do you pull them to have a glimpse of what they promiss? Do you scream at God "What the fuck do you want from me, you son of a bitch?" Or do you simply get up and walk away?
ºçdfklºdkf
But the bottom line is always one of two options, Charlie. Do you accept the challenge or do you ignore it? Knowing that those ropes don't fall from the sky every day.
ºçdfklºdkf
Because, like you, God is not willing to play dice every day. He's a moody kind of guy.

PSICANÁLISE XX

Thank you Jamir.... you made me dance again ... even if just for a little while
jkldjdkjk

jkldjdkjk
You know this boogie is for real.
lfkçldkflç
I used to put my faith in worship,
But then my chance to get to Heaven sli-i-pped
I used to worry about the future
But then I threw my caution to the wind.
I had no reason to be care free
No no no, until I took a trip to the other side of town
Yeah yeah yeah, you know I heard that boogie rhythm
Hey- I had no choice but to get down down down down.
lfkçldkflç
CHORUS
Dance, nothing left for me to do but dance,
All these bad times I'm going through just dance
Got canned heat in my heels tonight baby
lfkçldkflç
I feel the thunder see the lightning
I know this anger's heaven sent.
So I've got to hang out all my hang-ups
Because of the boogie I feel so hell bent
It's just an instant gut reaction, that I got
I know I never ever felt like this before,
I don't know what to do
But then that's nothing new,
Stuck between hell and high water
I need a cure to make it through.
lfkçldkflç
Hey- dancing nothing left for me to do but dance
All these bad times I'm going through just dance,
Hey, got canned heat in my heels tonight baby
You know know know I'm gonna dance yeah
lfkçldkflç
All the nasty things that people say,
but I'm gonna make it anyway...
Dance yeah! Got canned heat in my heels tonight baby!
You know I've got canned heat in my heels baby
You know this boogie is for real...
lfkçldkflç
Only the wind can blow the answer
And she cries to me when I'm asleep
She says you know that you can go much faster
I know that peoples' talk can be so cheap
Yeah yeah
I got this voodoo child inveined on me
I'm gonna use my power to ascend
You know I got these running heels to use
Sometimes there's no way to lose
I was born to run
And built to last
You've never seen my feet
cause' they can go so fast
lfkçldkflç
Dance…yeah, hey!
Nothing left for me to do but
Dance
All these bad times I'm going through just
Dance…Hey
Got Canned Heat in my heels tonight, baby
lfkçldkflç
Hey I've got to dance yeah!
all the nasty things that people say
But I'm gonna make it anyway,
Dance yeah!
Got canned heat in my heels tonight baby
lfkçldkflç
You know this boogie is for real,
So much canned heat in my heels yeah!
Gonna dance, gonna dance my blues away tonight,
You know I'm gonna dance my blues away,
lfkçldkflç
You know this boogie is for real,
So much canned heat in my heels yeah!
Gonna dance, gonna dance my blues away tonight,
Dance!
Got canned heat in my heels tonight,
Oh oh oh oh, canned heat in my heels tonight
Oh oh oh oh, canned heat in my heels tonight
Got so much...
lfkçldkflç
Dance!
Hey DJ
Let the music play
I'm gonna live this party life
Hey DJ
Throw my cares away
I'm gonna live this party life
Hey DJ
Let the music play
I'm gonna live this party life
Hey DJ
Throw my cares away
I'm gonna live this party life
lfkçldkflç
Canned heat in my heels tonight!
lfkçldkflç
You know, you know this boogie is for real
Got so much Canned Heat in my heels
Gonna dance, gonna dance my blues away tonight
Whoooooooo!
You know, you know this boogie
This boogie is for real
lfkçldkflç
You know I'm gonna dance my blues away tonight

PSICANÁLISE XIX

Playing Dice With God

Have you ever played dice with God, Charlie?
I have.

It's an extremely dangerous thing to do. And crazy. Because the consequences are very serious. So you should not do it very often.
When you play dice with God, you twist every rule in the book. But how can you do that, when you're playing with someone who knows everything? Tricky, huh?
FDKLKF
When you play dice with God it's not like when you must choose between left or right. No ... it's something very different.
What happens is you twist both turns in such a way that what comes out is a third path, which is neither left nor right, neither right or wrong. It's your own path, something you create alone. But it might be something which has nothing to do with you. Something completely unexpected, that could surprise even you. Sort of like quantum physics.
That's why neither Einstein nor God liked Niels Böhr …
FDKLKF
The consequences of playing dice with God can be very serious. Because you are left absolutely on your own. No rules have ever been written anywhere for whatever direction it is that you're headed. And God is screaming at you "How dare you?!! Child, how dare you choose the path I betted you would never choose?!!”
FDKLKF
You see, Charlie, when you play dice with God you're really playing dice with yourself. So you should only do it either if you're very sure of yourself, or when you have nothing else to lose. Because if you do have something to lose, you just might never be able to recover it.
FDKLKF
