Why go on? What if you don't need to go on? What if you don't have to go on? What if you keep pushing yourself for nothing? What if you're just being stupidly stubborn? Shouldn't you stop? Shouldn't you just let yourself fall down into some street corner and wait for the garbage pickup to come and trash you out? Shouldn't you just leave it be? Shouldn't you just quit? Simply, quietly, serenely. Fade away into the city. Melt down into the concrete and become a part of something much bigger than you. The city is there, waiting for you to waste away. It is patient and it will wait, serenely, for you.
